Kind attention of the Pay and Accounts Officers and Treasury Officers are drawn to the references cited. In the reference third cited, the Hon'ble Chief Minister has made an Announcement on the floor of the Legislative Assembly on 29.06.2024 as follows:-

அரசு ஊழியர்களுக்கான புதிய மருத்துவ காப்பீட்டுத் திட்டத்தில் அரசு ஊழியர்களை சார்ந்துள்ள தாய் தந்தையரையும் பயனாளிகளாக சேர்த்திட வேண்டுமென்று காவல் துறையினர் உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு அரசு அலுவலர்களிடம் இருந்தும் கோரிக்கைகள் வரப்பெற்றுள்ளன.

அவற்றை உரிய முறையில் ஆராய்ந்து, அரசு அலுவலர்களைச் சார்ந்து வாழும் அவர்களது பெற்றோர்களுக்கும் மருத்துவக் காப்பீட்டின் பலன் சென்றடையும் வகையில், சம்பந்தப்பட்ட அரசு ஊழியர்களின் விருப்பத்தைப் பெற்று, தற்போது நடைமுறையில் உள்ள புதிய மருத்துவக் காப்பீட்டுத் திட்டம் மறுசீரமைக்கப்படும். VI/7240/2024 In this regard, the United India Insurance Company Limited has furnished their quote of additional premium for the inclusion of dependent parents of the married employees under New Health Insurance Scheme 2021 (Employees Scheme). They will be eligible only for the unutilised balance of sum Insured available under the current scheme..

In the reference 6th cited, the Government has requested to furnish the following particulars, so as to pursue as to pursue further action in this regard expeditiously.

i. To obtain the willingness of the Government employees from all departments (Department wise) within the period of one week for including the dependent parents of Government employees under the New Health Insurance Scheme.

ii. Those who have availed the whole amount of Rs.5.00 lakh under this scheme need not give willingness.

Therefore, the Pay and Accounts Officers and Treasury Officers are requested to communicate the above details to the Drawing and Disbursing Officers and to inform them to obtain the employee wise willingness to include their dependent parents and send a consolidated report in the following format (Department wise total Number of willing employee details) to this Office, so as to send a report to the Government.
