Poor administration at TNTEU affects future prospects of B.Ed students in Tamil Nadu
Poor administration, amplified by vacancies in administrative posts including vice-chancellor and controller of examination, is affecting the prospects of students at the Tamil Nadu Teacher Education University (TNTEU). The delay in conducting B.Ed exams and publishing results is affecting many students who are seeking to take up teaching jobs.
According to students, the second and fourth-semester examinations, which were supposed to be held in May, were conducted from August 3 to 18. Second-year B.Ed student K Narmatha from Coimbatore said, “Because the exam was delayed, we could not land jobs in private schools as many refused to hire us without final semester exam results.”
Another student, K Sreemathi (name changed) from Erode, said, “Following continuous requests, a matriculation school agreed to take me in as a trainee teacher, but only for half the salary of Rs 6,000. Only when results are declared will I get the full salary of Rs 12,000?”
An assistant professor in a government B.Ed College pointed out that key administrative posts like vice-chancellor and controller of examination at TNTEU have been vacant for a long time and said lethargy was the reason for the delay. “TNTEU management did not prepare the answer sheets on time. Due to poor administration, the exam was delayed by two months. Answer script evaluation will start next week and results will likely be released in September.”
The principal of a private B.Ed college in Coimbatore said TNTEU was yet to distribute mark sheets of the fourth-semester exam to students of the 2020-22 batch because the printer did not function. Adding to the woes is the friction between the state government and the governor. “Vice-chancellor N Panchanathan completed his tenure more than two years ago, but the higher education department is yet to form a V-C search committee.
Even if it is constituted, the committee might remain inactive due to the power struggle between the government and the governor’s office,” AUT vice-president P Thirunavukkarasu said. When contacted, TNTEU V-C committee member P Natesan admitted answer sheets were not ready because the printing firm delayed them. He added that TNTEU purchased a printer for `30 lakh recently and mark sheets would be distributed soon.

This is to inform that the Research supervisors have to conduct the Ph.D Course Work Examinations for their Ph.D scholars those who joined in the academic year 2021-2022. In this Connection, the research supervisors have to prepare the syllabus for Research Methodology and Statistics, and Specific Area of Research Course. The syllabus for the above said courses should be approved by the Research Advisory Committee.
The research supervisors are informed to prepare the question papers for a maximum of 100 marks for the above mentioned two courses and to conduct the examinations. The Research Supervisors are requested to send the Student’s Examination Attendance Report, Answer Scripts and the marks obtained by them along with the Minutes of the Research Advisory Committee meeting to the Controller of Examinations on or before 28.02.2023.
It is further informed that University will conduct a common examination for the course, ‘Research and Publication Ethics’ in the University Campus on 27.02.2023 The syllabus for the course on Research and Publication Ethics is available in the University Ph.D Regulations, 2021(Appendix-M).
NOTE: The Ph.D Course work Examinations will be conducted only for the Ph.D Scholars those who have submitted atleast one Doctoral Committee Meeting report to the University

TN TET தேர்வு எழுதவுள்ளோர் கவனத்திற்கு – TNOU பல்கலைக்கழகம் வெளியிட்ட முக்கிய அறிவிப்பு!
தமிழகத்தில் திறந்த நிலை பல்கலைக்கழக தேர்வும், ஆசிரியர் தகுதி தேர்வும் (TET) ஒரே நாளில் நடைபெற உள்ளது. அதனால் TET தேர்வு எழுதவுள்ளவர்கள் முன்கூட்டியே தகவல் தெரிவிக்க வேண்டும் என்று அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.
TET தேர்வு:
தமிழகத்தில் அரசு மற்றும் அரசு உதவி பெறும் பள்ளிகளில் உள்ள ஆசிரியர் காலிப் பணியிடங்கள் டெட் தேர்வின் வாயிலாக நிரப்பப்பட்டு வருகிறது. கடந்த ஆண்டு டெட் தேர்வுக்கான அறிவிப்பு வெளியாகி முதல் கட்ட TET paper – 1 தேர்வு 2022 அக்டோபர் மாதம் நடைபெற்றது. அதனை தொடர்ந்து தற்போது பட்டதாரி ஆசிரியர்களுக்கான TET paper – 2 கடந்த வாரம் தொடங்கி நடைபெற்று வருகிறது.
இந்த நிலையில் டெட் தேர்வு எழுதவிருக்கும் மாணவர்கள் முன்கூட்டியே தெரிவிக்க வேண்டும் என்று தமிழ்நாடு திறந்த நிலை பல்கலைக்கழகம் கேட்டுக் கொண்டுள்ளது. ஏனெனில் திறந்தநிலை பல்கலைக்கழக தேர்வுகள் பிப்ரவரி மாதம் தொடங்கி ஏப்ரல் வரை நடைபெற உள்ளது. இந்த பல்கலைக்கழக தேர்வு நாளில் டெட் தேர்வும் நடைபெற உள்ளதால் மாணவர்கள் குழப்பமடைந்துள்ளனர்.
பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் பயிலும் மாணவர்கள் TET தேர்வை எழுத விண்ணப்பித்துள்ளதால் அவர்கள் ஒரே நாளில் இரு தேர்வையும் எழுத முடியாத சூழல் உருவாகியுள்ளது. இதனை கருத்தில் கொண்டு பல்கலைக்கழகம் அதனை முன்கூட்டியே தெரிவிக்க வேண்டும். அம்மாணவர்களுக்கு மட்டும் தேர்வு ஒத்திவைக்கப்பட்டு 19.03.2023 அன்று நடத்தப்படும் என்று தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. TET எழுதவுள்ளவர்கள் தேர்வுக்கு விண்ணப்பித்த சான்றுடன் தமிழ்நாடு திறந்தநிலை பல்கலைக்கழகம் சைதாப்பேட்டை என்ற முகவரிக்கு தகவல் தெரிவிக்க வேண்டும் என்று கேட்டுக்கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளது.

ஆசிரியர் கல்வியியல் பல்கலை: 1.67 லட்சம் பேருக்கு பட்டம்
தமிழ்நாடு ஆசிரியர் கல்வியியல் பல்கலை பட்டமளிப்பு விழாவில், 1.67 லட்சம் பேருக்கு பட்டங்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டன.
தமிழ்நாடு ஆசிரியர் கல்வியியல் பல்கலையின், 10வது பட்டமளிப்பு விழா, சென்னையில் நேற்று நடந்தது. கவர்னர் ரவி தலைமையில் நடந்த விழாவில், மணிப்பூரில் உள்ள ஐ.ஐ.ஐ.டி., இயக்குனர் கிருஷ்ணன் பாஸ்கர், முதன்மை விருந்தினராக பங்கேற்றார்.
'ஸ்மார்ட்' கல்வி
உயர் கல்வித் துறை அமைச்சர் பொன்முடி சிறப்புரை ஆற்றினார். பல்கலை துணைவேந்தர் பஞ்சநாதம், பல்கலையின் ஆண்டு செயல்பாட்டு அறிக்கையை வாசித்தார்.
இந்நிகழ்வில், 2018 - -19ம் ஆண்டு முதல், மூன்று கல்வி ஆண்டுகளாக, பி.எட்., - எம்.எட்., - எம்.பில்., - பிஎச்.டி., முடித்த, 1.67 லட்சம் பேருக்கு பட்டங்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டன. பல்கலை தேர்வுகளில் தர வரிசையில் முன்னிலை பெற்ற, 47 மாணவர்கள் உள்பட, 406 பேர் நேரடியாக பட்டங்கள் பெற்று கொண்டனர். மற்றவர்களுக்கு, அந்தந்த கல்லுாரிகள் வழியாக சான்றிதழ் வழங்கப்பட உள்ளன.
கவர்னர் ரவி பேசியதாவது:
ஆசிரியர் பணிக்கான பட்டம் பெற்றவர்களுக்கு, அதிக பொறுப்புகள் உள்ளன. இந்த காலகட்டத்தில் 'ஸ்மார்ட்' கல்வியை நீங்கள் வழங்க வேண்டும். பொது அறிவை ஊட்ட வேண்டும்.
மிகவும் தொன்மை வாய்ந்த தமிழ் மொழியின் பெருமையை, பாரம்பரியத்தை, கலாசாரத்தை கற்று தர வேண்டும். இந்தியா ஒருங்கிணைந்த நாடாக இருந்தது. காலனி ஆதிக்கத்தால், பிரிட்டிஷாரால் பல வகையில் பிரிக்கப்பட்டன என்ற, வரலாற்றை விளக்க வேண்டும்.
தமிழக மாடல் திட்டம்
இந்த நாடு ஒரே குடும்பம் போன்றது. காஷ்மீர் முதல் கன்னியாகுமரி வரையில், அனைவரும் சகோதரர்கள். காசி முதல் கன்னியாகுமரி வரை, தமிழ் மொழியின் பெருமை இருந்தது. அதனால்தான் 'காசி தமிழ்ச் சங்கமம்' நிகழ்ச்சி நடத்தப்படுகிறது.
வட மாநில அரசுகள், தமிழை தங்களின் பாடத்திட்டத்தில் இணைத்து, தமிழையும், திருக்குறளையும் போதிக்க உள்ளன. 13 மொழிகளில் திருக்குறள் மொழி மாற்றம் செய்யப்பட்டு, புத்தகமாக வெளியிடப்பட்டு உள்ளது. இதை எல்லாம் மாணவர்களுக்கு ஆசிரியர்கள் கற்றுத் தர வேண்டும்.
இவ்வாறு அவர் பேசினார்.
அமைச்சர் பொன்முடி பேசியதாவது:
அனைத்து மாநிலங்களும், தமிழக மாடல் திட்டங்களைத் தான் பின்பற்றுகின்றன. ஆசிரியர் கல்விக்காக, ஆசியாவிலேயே முதலில் துவங்கப்பட்ட நிறுவனம், தமிழக ஆசிரியர் கல்வியியல் பல்கலை. இங்கு பட்டம் பெற்றவர்கள், ஆசிரியர் பணிக்கு செல்லும்போது, மாணவர்களுக்கு அறிவியல், தொழில்நுட்பத்தையும், பொது அறிவையும் இணைத்து கற்றுத் தர வேண்டும்.
இவ்வாறு அவர் பேசினார்.

The matter regarding payment of salary to the faculty members into their individual Bank Accounts by the TEIs has been considered by the Southern Regional Committee (SRC), NCTE in its 412th Meeting held on 05th & 06th July, 2022 whereby the Committee has decided as under: -
"The Committee discussed in detail several representations received from the faculty working in many of the private un-aided institutions in the Southern Region. The Regional Director, SRC is advised to write all the affiliating Universities/bodies to ensure regular payment of salary to the faculty members into their individual bank account which is mandatory as per NCTE Regulations before according to affiliation."
In view of the above you are requested to take cognizance of the above in view of the decision taken by the Committee and ensure regular payment of salary to the faculty members into their individual bank account which is mandatory as per NCTE Regulations before according to affiliation.
A report in the matter shall be highly appreciated.

I am by direction, to inform you that the Colleges of Education affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, offering M.Phil (One Year) Semster Pattern Programme adhere with M.Phil Regulations and Syllabus from the academic year 2020-2021 onwards. The Principal shall constitute a three member Research Advisory Committee including the supervisor of the candidate at the M.Phil level to monitor the research activities of the College.
The students (admitted during the academic year 2021-2022 only) should submit one research proposal (not exceeding 7 pages) as per the guidelines of the Research Advisory Committee of the concerned College. The Research Advisory Committee shall scrutinize the research proposal and duly signed and forward to the Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University for approval in the prescribed Excel format to the following Email ID: tnteumphilresearch@gmail.com and the hard copy of the same should be addressed to the Controller of the Examinations on or before 06.07.202 GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF M.Phil RESEARCH PROPOSAL
Every M.Phil. candidate should submit his/her research proposals in the format as given below.
1.0 Statement of the Problem
State the research problem that you have chosen. A problem often implies that a controversy or difference of opinion exists. Research problems can be derived from theory, prior research results, or personal observation and experiences.
2.0 Title of Study
Write the title of your research problem.
3.0 Significance of the Study
Briefly mention the usefulness of the research. Indicate the benefits of the research findings. 4.0 Review of Related Literature Make a brief review of literature relevant to your research problem.
5.0 Hypotheses
Formulate a major hypothesis based on the variables of your research problem. You can formulate some minor hypotheses, too. Hypotheses should be generally based on prior research and / or theory. The hypotheses can be stated in a declarative or question form.
6.0 Methods
6.1 Subjects:
Indicate the population from which you plan to select the sample.
Indicate the sample size: The number of subjects to be selected from the population.
Sampling technique: Indicate where and how the subjects are to be selected.
6.2 Procedure:
Outline the research plan:
Explain the procedure that you are going to follow in carrying out the study. Indicate what data will be needed and what data gathering devices (research tools) will be used.
