Minister M. Subramanian has said in the Legislative Assembly that Siddha Medical University will be started in Tamil Nadu after getting the approval of the Governor. After the Bill was passed and sent to the Governor 4 months ago, an explanation was also sent to him. Minister M. Subramanian explained in the assembly that 25 acres of land in Madhavaram area has been surveyed and land transfer is ready.

ஆளுநரின் ஒப்புதல் கிடைத்தவுடன் தமிழ்நாட்டில், சித்த மருத்துவ பல்கலைக்கழகம் தொடங்கப்படும் என சட்டப்பேரவையில் அமைச்சர் மா.சுப்பிரமணியன் கூறியுள்ளார். சட்ட மசோதா நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டு ஆளுநருக்கு அனுப்பி வைக்கப்பட்ட நிலையில் 4 மாதங்களுக்கு முன், அவருக்கு விளக்கமும் அனுப்பப்பட்டுள்ளது. மாதவரம் பகுதியில் 25 ஏக்கர் நிலம் ஆய்வு மேற்கொண்டு, நிலமாற்றமும் செய்யப்பட்டு தயாராக உள்ளதாக பேரவையில் அமைச்சர் மா.சுப்பிரமணியன் விளக்கமளித்துள்ளார்.
