The National Testing Agency is conducting the Joint Entrance Examination ( Main ) - 2024 Session 1 at different Centres located various cities throughout the country and 22 Cities outside India as per the following details : JEE (முதன்மை) - 2024 அமர்வு 1. விண்ணப்பதாரர்களுக்கு தேர்வு நகரத்தை ஒதுக்கீடு செய்வதற்கான முன்கூட்டியே அறிவிப்பு.

விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் தங்களது தேர்வு நகர அறிவிப்பு சீட்டை https://jeemain.nta.ac.in என்ற இணையதளத்தில் இருந்து பதிவிறக்கம் செய்ய வேண்டும்..

Advance Intimation for Allotment of Examination City to the Applicants of Mains Examination (Paper I and Paper II) i.e. Phase 2 for the Post of Examiner of Patents and Designs– Reg.

The National Testing Agency conducted the Preliminary Exam (Phase 1) for the Post of Examiner of Patents and Designs against 553 vacancies under DR quota in the Patent Office at 260 Centres located in 103 cities throughout the country on 21 December 2023 (Thursday) for about 89657 candidates. The result for the Preliminary exam was declared on 10 January 2024 on the website https://exams.nta.ac.in/DPIIT/

The candidates who have qualified the Preliminary Exam (Phase 1) will be eligible to appear for the Mains Examination (Paper I and Paper II). The National Testing Agency is now conducting the Mains Examination (Paper I and Paper II) i.e. Phase 2 for the Post of Examiner of Patents and Designs at different Centres located in various cities throughout the country as per the details given below: The candidates are required to check/download their Examination City Intimation slip of Mains Examination (Paper I and Paper II) i.e. Phase 2 for the Post of Examiner of Patents and Designs (using their Application No. and Date of Birth) from the website https://exams.nta.ac.in/DPIIT/ and https://nta.ac.in/ w.e.f. 15 January 2024 and go through the instructions contained therein.

The Candidates may please note that this is NOT the Admit Card for Mains Examination (Paper I and Paper II) i.e. Phase 2 for the Post of Examiner of Patents and Designs. This is advance information for the allotment of the City where the Examination Centre will be located, to facilitate the candidates. The Admit Card of Recruitment shall be issued later.

The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) to the NTA from 2019 onwards. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE (Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country.

For Academic Session 2024-25, it has been decided that the JEE (Main) – 2024 will be conducted in two Sessions i.e. Session 1 (January 2024) and Session 2 (April 2024). The details for the Session 1 (January 2024) are given below:

JEE (Main) - 2024 will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

A candidate has the option to apply for one Session or for both Sessions (Session 1 and Session 2 of 2024) together and pay the exam fee accordingly. In other words, if a candidate wishes to apply only for Session 1, he/she has to pay the Examination Fee only for Session 1 during the current application period and will have the opportunity to apply again for Session 2 (April 2024) when the application window for Session 2 will be re-opened as per the details available in the Information Bulletin and will also be notified separately through a Public Notice.

For Papers, Scheme, Timing, eligibility, and other information, candidates are requested to please check the Information Bulletin of JEE (Main) – 2024 available on the website: https://jeemain.nta.ac.in/ Important Instructions:

i. Candidates can apply for JEE (Main) - 2024 through the “Online” mode only through the website https://jeemain.nta.ac.in/ The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted. ii. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. Under no circumstances, candidates will be allowed to fill more than one Application Form. Strict action will be taken, even at a later stage, against such candidates who have filled more than one Application Form

iii. Candidates must strictly follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.

iv. Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are their own or Parents/Guardians' only as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered Mobile Number only.
