School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyamozhi has said that a 3,500-strong flying squadron will be set up to prevent irregularities in the general examinations for Class 10, Plus 1 and Plus 2 to be held in May.

A consultative meeting on making arrangements for the general elections to be held in Tamil Nadu this month started this morning at the Anna Centenary Library, Kotturpuram, Chennai. The meeting was chaired by School Education Minister Mahesh Poyamozhi. Director of Examinations Sethuramavarma, All District First Mike Education Officers participated. தமிழகத்தில் மேமாதம் நடக்க உள்ள பொதுத்தேர்வுகளுக்கான ஏற்பாடுகளை செய்வது தொடர்பான ஆலோசனைக் கூட்டம் சென்னை கோட்டூர்புரம் அண்ணா நூற்றாண்டு நூலகத்தில் இன்று காலை தொடங்கியது. இந்த கூட் டத்தில் பள்ளிக் கல்வித் துறை அமைச்சர் மகேஷ் பொய்யாமொழி தலைமை தாங்கினார். தேர்வுத்துறை இயக்குநர் சேதுராமவர்மா, அனைத்து மாவட்ட முதன்மைக் கல்வி அலுவலர்கள் பங்கேற்றனர். பொதுத்தேர்வுகள் நடத்துவது குறித்த வழிகாட்டுதல்களை அமைச்சர் தெரிவித்தார். பின்னர் அவர் கூறியதாவது:
