Many representations have been received from various Pensioners Associations and Pensioners regarding their undrawn pension for more than 6 months from their bank account Due to Covid-19, pensioners have not been able to operate their bank account for more than 6 months on account of restrictions imposed on their movernents particularly for senior citizens.
In this regard, it instructed that the bank accounts of the pensioners which have not been operated for more than 6 months should not be freezed due to Covid-19. Instructions should be issued to all subordinates including the sub-Treasury to follow the above instructions scrupulously.
