Arts, Science College Syllabus to be Changed Soon: Higher Education Minister Ponmudi
Higher Education Minister Ponmudi has said that following the engineering syllabuses, the syllabuses of arts and science colleges in Tamil Nadu will be changed soon. Ministers Ponmudi and Ganesan inaugurated the zonal conference of Nan Muluvan Scheme at Anna University, Chennai. What is the I-first scheme? How should the plan be implemented? Ministers and officials briefed the principals about the training to be given to the students and professors.
Speaking at the conference, Minister Ponmudi said that a unique education policy similar to Tamil Nadu is being developed and he said that a new curriculum will be introduced in arts and science colleges. Minister Ponmudi said that those who complete the engineering course should start small and micro businesses in their respective areas and for that, steps will be taken to teach additional courses along with the studies and issue certificates.
Speaking earlier, Chief Minister's Private Secretary Udaya Chandran has requested that the syllabus has been changed to suit the job opportunities and the students should be prepared according to the new syllabus. Principals, professors and dignitaries of 68 engineering colleges from Chennai, Kanchipuram and Chengalpattu districts participated in this conference.

இந்த மாநாட்டில் பேசிய அமைச்சர் பொன்முடி தமிழகத்திற்கு இணையான தனித்துவமான கல்விக்கொள்கை உருவாக்கப்பட்டு வருவதாக கூறிய அவர் கலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் கல்லூரிகளில் புதிய பாடத்திட்டம் அறிமுகப்படுத்தபட இருப்பதாக தெரிவித்தார். பொறியியல் படிப்பை படித்து முடிப்பவர்கள் அவரவர் பகுதிகளில் சிறு, குறு தொழில்களை தொடங்க வேண்டும் என்றும், அதற்காக படிப்புடன் கூடுதல் படிப்புகளை கற்பித்து சான்றிதழ்கள் வழங்க நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படும் என்றும் அமைச்சர் பொன்முடி தெரிவித்தார்.
முன்னதாக பேசிய முதலமைச்சரின் தனிச்செயலாளர் உதய சந்திரன் வேலை வாய்ப்பிற்கேற்ற வகையில் பாடத்திட்டம் மாற்றி வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டிருப்பதாகவும், புதிய பாடத்திட்டத்திற்கேற்ப ,மாணவர்களை தயார் படுத்த வேண்டும் என்றும் கேட்டுக்கொண்டுள்ளார். இந்த மாநாட்டால் சென்னை, காஞ்சிபுரம், செங்கல்பட்டு மாவட்டங்களை சேர்ந்த 68 பொறியியல் கல்லூரி முதல்வர்கள், பேராசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் உயரதிகாரிகள் பங்கேற்றனர்.
