Prevention of second wave of Covid 19 pandemic- Implementation of BCP In Banks in the State of Tamilnadu
We refer to our earlier communication dated 24.04.2021 wherein we had informed implementation of Business Continuity Plan for the period from 26.04.2021 to 30.04.2021.
Further, on 30.04.2021 a special SLBC meeting with major Stakeholder Banks was held to discuss on the Business Continuity Plan/Advisories to be followed by Banks for the month of May 2021.
Based on the outcome of the meeting and the consensus reached, the BCP guidelines to be implemented for the month of May 2021 was sent to the Govt of Tamilnadu on 30.04.2021 for getting their approval. We are yet to receive the same. Meanwhile it has been decided to implement the earlier BCP issued vide letter dated 24.04.2021 for the time being until further notice. The copy of the communication dated 24.04.2021 is enclosed for the reference of the Member Banks & LDMs.
