Public Health and Preventive Medicine - VBDC-Nomination of Nodal Officers to monitor Control Activity - Regarding. Ref: Review meeting conducted and instructed by Hon'ble. Minister for Health and Principal Secretary Health and Family Welfare Department, on Dated: 16.09.2023.

In view of the upsurge of fever cases in certain districts. So early intervention of various public health activities are most important. In view of that the following state level officers are request to visit the District for monitoring and effective implementation of Disease control activities in the allotted Districts. The Responsibilities of Nodal Officers in their respective HUDs are as follows:-

• Monitoring the occurrence of the communicable diseases on daily basis and ensuring adequate response.

• Periodical inspection and review including deployment of DBCs, logistics, Supplies, and Utilization of funds.

Feedback to concerned Programme Divisions for follow up action.

Surprise Inspections to the Field and different health facilities including private institutions.

• Co-ordination for organizing continuing Medical Education Programme for communicable diseases Control.

Instruction Given during the Review meeting.

General Instructions:

1. 50% of Programme Officers should be in Head Quarters at any time.

2. To complete the inspection in 2-3 days per visit time.

The above officials are requested to visit the concerned district for supervision of communicable diseases control activities in the districts allotted to them.
