Very often old vehicles are being parked with worn out look and rusty appearance in many of the government premises. When enquired about these vehicles, no one knows why they are parked there. The HODs and District Collectors are requested to sort out these vehicles and find the modalities of dispensing them early. Once disposed, It will give additional space for parking and will also bring some revenue to government exchequer. 2. In enforcement departments, seized vehicles are parked for want of cases to get completed. In such instances steps should be taken to get necessary permission from the relevant authority and cause speedy disposal of the vehicles. Sometimes unreasonable rates are fixed as upset price because of which no one comes forward to take them in auction. Therefore the vehicles remain constantly exposed to scorching sun and copious rains and get more damaged. These vehicles can bring only less revenue to the government.
3. Therefore the authorities concerned may be requested to fix a reasonable price for such vehicles and auction them at the earliest. I request you to take action in this regard and send a report to Secretary to Government, Public (Motor Vehicles) Department immediately.
4. The receipt of this letter may be acknowledged.

இது குறித்து வெளியிடப்பட்ட உத்தரவில், பயன்பாடற்ற வாகனங்களை அகற்றும் பணிக்கான, நடைமுறைகளை துறைத் தலைவர்களும், மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர்களும் கண்டறிய வேண்டும் என குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
இதன்மூலம், பயன்பாட்டிலுள்ள வாகனங்களை நிறுத்துவதற்கு போதுமான இடம் கிடைக்கும் என்றும், அரசு கருவூலத்துக்கு சிறிது நிதியும் சேரும் என தலைமைச் செயலாளர் வெ.இறையன்பு தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
