G.O.(Ms.)No.282 Dated: 10.06.2021 - TNHSP-CMCHIS- Allocation of 10% of bed strength (in Oxygen and ICU beds) exclusively for Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme beneficiaries in Empanelled Private Hospitals out of 50% of bed strength already allocated for treatment of COVID-19-Orders- Issued.

ORDER:
In the Government Order first read above, orders were issued for inclusion of new packages and fixation of Ceiling rates for treatment and testing of Covid-19 for beneficiaries under CMCHIS/General Public in empanelled private hospitals, labs and bed capacity in private hospitals. 2. In the Government Order second read above, orders were issued for the revised rates for RT-PCR test under Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme/Private Labs.

3. In the Government Order third read above, orders were issued for refixing the rates for treatment of Covid-19 for beneficiaries under CMCHIS in empanelled private hospitals/General Public in Private Hospitals.

4. In the Government Order fourth read above, Government directed the Private Clinical Establishments to allocate a minimum of 50 % of total bed capacity for treating covid patients. Such allotment should be across all categories of beds available in the hospital, specialty including oxygen beds and ICUS.

5. The Project Director, Tamil Nadu Health Systems Project has stated that in view of COVID -19 pandemic, on 07.05.2021, Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has announced free treatment in private hospitals for all types of COVID 19 cases under Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme
