The school education department has ordered the rooms where the 10th class, plus 2 question papers will be kept, with 24-hour police security and surveillance camera facilities.
Sethurama Verma, Director, Department of State Examinations, has sent a circular to the Primary Education Officers regarding the safe keeping of Class X, Plus 1 and Plus 2 General Examination question papers.
It said: There should be only one way to the room where the question paper is kept. The bundles containing the question papers should be unlocked, looking at the external information and locked securely. For that room, two officers should be appointed. The question paper room should be sealed with lacquer.
The 'seal' should be broken in the presence of the two officials and the question paper should be sent to the examination center.
