தமிழ்நாடு தலைமைச் செயலர் பிப்ரவரி 25ம் தேதி அரசாணை எண் 29ஐ பிறப்பித்தார்.
அதன்படி ஆசிரியர்கள் உள்ளிட்ட அரசு ஊழியர்களின் ஓய்வு பெறும் வயதை 60 ஆக உயர்த்தப்பட்டுள்ளதை தொடந்து தற்போது இவர்களுக்கும் உயர்வு.

PROCEEDINGS:
1.Based on the G.O. first read above, orders were issued increasing the age of superannuation of the Officers and Workmen of TANGEDCO from 58 to 59 years - vide Proceedings second and third read above, respectively. 2. The Government, in its G.O. fourth read above, have issued orders increasing the age of superannuation of Government servants from 59 years to 60 years. Further, it has been ordered therein that the said orders will be applicable to employees of the Government and Government Aided Educational Institutions, Legal and Constitutional Bodies, Public Sector Undertakings, Local Bodies, Commissions, Boards and Societies.
3. The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited, after careful consideration, has decided to adopt the said orders of the Government in TANGEDCO. Accordingly, the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited hereby orders that the age of superannuation of the officers/employees of TANGEDCO, be increased from 59 to 60 years. This will apply to all those who are in service as on date and due to retire on superannuation from 31.05.2021.
4. Necessary amendments to the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Service Regulations will be issued separately.
5. The receipt of these proceedings shall be acknowledged.
