I am directed to refer to Government of Tamil Nadu's letter No 469/A. 1/2020, dated 13.08.2020 on the above-mentioned subject and to convey the approval of the Central Government for extension in service to Thiru K. Shanmugam, IAS (TN:1985), Chief Secretary. Government of Tamil Nadu, for a further period of three months w.e.f. 01.11.2020 upto 31.01.2021 in terms of Rule 16(1) of AIS(DCRB) Rules, 1958.
