ORDER:

In the Government order first read above, among others orders were issued that the Retirement Gratuity and Death Gratuity shall be enhanced from the existing ceiling limit of Rs. 10,00,000/- to Rs.20,00,000/- with effect from 01-01-2016.

The ceiling on gratuity shall be increased by 25% of Rs.20,00,000/-, (i.c. Rs.5,00,000/- lakhs) each time the rate of Dearness Allowance crosses a multiple of 50 percentage points.

2. In the Government orders second and third read above, orders were issued enhancing the rate of Dearness Allowance payable to Government Employees/Pensioners from 46% to 50% with effect from 01.01.2024.

3. In the Government of India memorandum fourth read above, the maximum limit of Retirement Gratuity and Death Gratuity has been increased as per the Government's decision in implementation of recommendations of Seventh Central Pay Commission by 25% (ie from Rs.20,00,000/- to Rs.25,00,000/-) with effect from 01.01.2024.

4. The Government has decided to enhance the maximum limit of Retirement Gratuity and Death Gratuity from Rs.20,00,000/- to Rs.25,00,000/- and orders accordingly. The above enhancement shall take effect from 01.01.2024.

5. The Accountant General (A&E) shall issue Digitally signed E-Authorizations for making payment of revised Retirement Gratuity and Death Gratuity to the District Treasury Officers/Pay and Accounts Officers delinking the Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) where the Government (P.T.O) 2 employee is/was drawing salary in respect of eligible employees retiring with effect from 01.01.2024, அரசு ஊழியர்களுக்கான பணிக்கொடை 20 லட்சத்திலிருந்து 25 லட்சமாக உயர்த்தி தமிழக அரசு அரசாணை வெளியீடு.

பழைய ஓய்வூதிய திட்டத்தில் பணி ஓய்வு மற்றும் இறப்பு ஏற்படும் போது மத்திய அரசு வழங்கியது போல் பணிக்கொடை 20 லட்சத்திலிருந்து 25 லட்சமாக உயர்த்தி தமிழக அரசு ஆணை.
