The Department of School Education has allocated Rs. 3.24 lakhs for providing reading to visually impaired students in Tamil Nadu.
Details of the circular sent to all District Primary Education Officers on behalf of the State Project Directorate of Integrated School Education:
In the current academic year (2021-22), the Union Ministry of Education has approved the provision of reading aids to help 907 visually impaired students studying from Class 9 to Plus 2. Funds are currently being released for 811 visually impaired persons with all the details obtained through the EMIS site.
Accordingly, a total of Rs.3.24 lakh has been allocated for 811 students at the rate of Rs.400 per person (including 4 months). After paying the tuition fee in the bank account of the student concerned, the details will be communicated to the parents' cell phone via SMS. This is to ensure that visually impaired students are provided with uninterrupted educational facilities and upload them on the EMIS site. In addition, special educators should take steps to ensure that students with disabilities are provided with unrestricted academic reading and assistant facilities. தமிழகத்தில் பார்வை குறையுள்ள மாற்றுத்திறன் மாணவர்களுக்கு வாசிப்புப்படி வழங்குவதற்காக ரூ.3.24 லட்சம் நிதியை பள்ளிக்கல்வித் துறை ஒதுக்கீடு செய்துள்ளது.
இதுகுறித்து ஒருங்கிணைந்த பள்ளிக் கல்வியின் மாநில திட்ட இயக்குநரகம் சார்பில், அனைத்து மாவட்ட முதன்மைக் கல்வி அதிகாரிகளுக்கு அனுப்பப்பட்டுள்ள சுற்றறிக்கை விவரம்:
நடப்பு கல்வியாண்டில் (2021-22) 9 முதல் பிளஸ் 2 வகுப்பு வரை பயிலும் 907 பார்வை குறையுடைய மாற்றுத்திறன் மாணவர்களுக்கு உதவும் வகையில் வாசிப்புப்படி வழங்க மத்திய கல்வி அமைச்சகம் தற்போது ஒப்புதல் அளித்துள்ளது. இதில் எமிஸ் தளம் மூலம் அனைத்து விவரங்களும் பெறப்பட்டுள்ள 811 பார்வை குறைபாடுள்ள மாற்றுத் திறனாளிகளுக்கான நிதி தற்போது விடுவிக்கப்படுகிறது. அதன்படி, ஒருவருக்கு ரூ.400 வீதம் (4 மாதங்களுக்கும் சேர்த்து) 811 மாணவர்களுக்கு மொத்தம் ரூ.3.24 லட்சம் நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. சம்பந்தப்பட்ட மாணவர்களின் வங்கிக்கணக்கில் வாசிப்புப் படிக்கான தொகை செலுத்தப்பட்ட பின்னர் அதன் விவரம் பெற்றோர்களின் செல்போனுக்கு குறுஞ்செய்தி மூலம் தெரியபடுத்தப்படும்.
இதையடுத்து பார்வை குறையுடைய மாற்றுத்திறன் மாணவர்கள் தடையின்றி கல்வி பயில்வதற்கான வசதிகளை செய்து தருவதை உறுதி செய்து எமிஸ் தளத்தில் அவற்றை பதிவேற்ற வேண்டும். மேலும், மாற்றுத்திறன் மாணவர்கள் தடையின்றி கல்வி பயில வாசகர் மற்றும் உதவியாளர் வசதிகளை சிறப்புப் பயிற்றுநர்கள் செய்து தருவதற்கான நடவடிக்கைகளை மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும்.இவ்வாறு அதில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
