The following transfers and postings are notified:-

(1) Thiru G. Lakshmipathy, IAS, Sub Collector, Chengalpattu is transferred and posted as Collector, Thoothukudi District vice Dr. K. Senthil Raj, IAS;

(ii) Thiru M. Thangavel, IAS, Joint Managing Director & Project Director (World Bank and Asian Development Bank Projects), Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board is transferred and posted as Collector, Karur District vice Dr. T. Prabhushankar, IAS;

(iii) Dr. T. Prabhushankar, IAS, Collector, Karur District is transferred and posted as Collector, Tiruvallur District vice Dr. Alby John Varghese, IAS;

(iv) Tmt. E. Sundaravalli, IAS, Managing Director, State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu is transferred and posted as Commissioner of Employment and Training vice Thiru K. 2. The services of Dr. K. Senthil Raj, IAS, Collector, Thoothukudi District are placed at the disposal of State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu for appointment as its Managing Director vice Tmt. E. Sundaravalli, IAS.

3. The services of Dr. Alby John Varghese, IAS, Collector, Tiruvallur District are placed at the disposal of Metropolitan Transport Corporation, Chennai for appointment as its Managing Director.

4. The services of Thiru Srutanjay Narayanan, IAS, Sub Collector, Tiruppur are placed at the disposal of District Rural Development Agency, Villupuram for appointment as its Additional Collector (Development)/Project Officer.

5. The services of Thiru P. Rathinasamy, IAS, Commissioner, Corporation of Vellore are placed at the disposal of District Rural Development Agency, Ramanathapuram for appointment as its Additional Collector (Development)/Project Officer.

6. Under Rule 12(1) of the IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016, the Government declare that the posts of Managing Director, State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu; Managing Director, Metropolitan Transport Corporation, Chennai; Additional Collector (Development)/Project Officer, DRDA, Villupuram; and Additional Collector (Development)/Project Officer, DRDA, Ramanathapuram referred to in paras 2 to 6 above be equivalent in status and responsibilities to the cadre post of "Director of Social Welfare" specified in Schedule II-A of the IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016.

7. The terms and conditions of deputation of Dr. K. Senthil Raj, IAS; Dr. Alby John Varghese, IAS; Thiru Srutanjay Narayanan, IAS; and Thiru P. Rathinasamy, IAS on foreign service will be governed as per the orders issued in G.O. Ms. No.167, Public (Special.A) Department, dated 21.2.1994.
