Conduct of the Phase 4 of Common University Entrance Examination CUET (UG) –
2022 – Reg.
National Testing Agency is conducting Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] - 2022 from 15 July 2022 onwards at 489 Examination Centres located in 259 cities across India and 09 cities outside India as per the following schedule
Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3 involving about 6.31 lakh candidates are now over.
The CUET (UG) – 2022 has been scheduled for approximately 14,90,000 (Fourteen Lakh and Ninety Thousand) candidates, with approximately 8,10,000 (Eight lakh and ten thousand) candidates in the first slot and approximately 6,80,000 (Six lakh eighty thousand) candidates in the second slot.
These candidates have applied for 54,555 unique combination of subjects across 90 Universities.
Phase 4 of CUET (UG) – 2022 was started today on 17 August 2022.
The examination started off well in 455 Centres in 245 Cities across the Country including remote cities like Navsari, Itanagar, Barpeta, Nalbari, Araria, Arrah, Begusarai, Bettiah, Bhabua, Buxar, Jammui, Samastipur, Bilaspur, Deoghar, Kargil, Leh, Morena, Behrampur, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sriganganagar, Balia, Basti, Chandauli, Ghazipur, Mau, Sonbhadra, Srinagar (Uttrakhand). The examination was scheduled for 1,45,885 candidates in two shifts today.
In both shifts, Uttar Pradesh had maximum numbers of candidates 44033 followed by Delhi with 25131 candidates and 134 and 29 Centres respectively. Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Daman & Diu, Goa, Leh, Ladakh, Manipur, Mizoram, Puducherry and Tripura had one Centre each.
Due to some unavoidable technical reasons, examination scheduled for today was cancelled in 13 centres in Shift 1 and Shift 2. A total of 8693 candidates were affected out of 1,45,885 candidates.
Those candidates, whose today’s examination was cancelled would be informed regarding their new date tomorrow. It is proposed to hold these examinations on 25 August 2022.
The list of Centres which were cancelled is enclosed at Annexure-1.
